There’s an interesting phenomenon happening right now…

And it’s the biggest migration our society has ever faced. Have you noticed?

We’re all moving to what I call Cloudlandia.

We're connected 24/7. We’re literally online every minute of the day. And our attention is primarily focused on the cloud through the remote control of our life - the smartphone.

But it’s not just us people who are migrating to Cloudlandia. It’s businesses, too.

With Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube...

It’s never been easier to come up with an idea, get it out there, and reach the whole world.

However, there’s a huge downside to that…

The opportunity of being able to sell anywhere can blind you. And you get caught up thinking, "Okay, we can sell this to anybody anywhere...” So you end up pushing your product globally when you don’t even know if it’s something people want.

That’s why the best thing to do when you’re just starting out is to artificially constrain yourself…

For example, you physically limit yourself to a geographic area and say, "Okay, this is our artificial constraint here, within a one-hour radius of where we are. Let's see what we can do in this universe here...”

That way, you get knowable, manageable numbers. And it’s much easier to focus your energy on a small sample of your market. So you can observe, test, tweak, experiment... until you get all your ducks in a row.

And when you do roll out globally, you can be confident you’re rolling out a proven, scale-ready model.

Remember this: It’s better to convince 10% of the people 100% of the way than it is to convince 100% of the people 10% of the way.
