Super signature

Imagine that every time you send out your flagship email you’re inviting your prospects into your living room.

Then, when people come to your house, you have a choice:

You can announce to everyone that if they’re hungry or thirsty there’s lots of stuff in the fridge and they can go on and help themselves…

… or...

You invite them to have a seat, bring a plate of freshly baked cookies from the kitchen and say, “Dean, would you like a cookie?"

Now, think about it. It would be very difficult for anyone NOT to take a cookie when you make an offer like that.

But nobody would ever in a million years say to you, "You know, would you bake me some cookies?" Yet that's what you're expecting your prospects to do when you say, "if there's anything I can help you with, feel free to reach out."

We expect our prospects to take the initiative and request our help so that we can jump right into action... because from the business standpoint, we're more than happy to bake somebody some cookies.

But people don’t like to take the initiative.

It’s how we’re raised: We don’t want to impose and make others go out of their way for us.

So if you've got the cookies and you've got the punch and you've got the fruit cake...

… but you're keeping all of it in the closet even if you’re happy to give it to anybody who asks for it...

… odds of your guests coming to you and say, "Hey, got any fruit cake?” are pretty low.

But when you put the goods out and make them available for everyone to see, then people are much more likely to reach out. And they'll be appreciative that you anticipated they might be hungry or thirsty.

That’s why it’s on you, the business owner, to create a “trigger” that moves your prospects from Profit Activator 3 into your During Unit. And the simplest (and most powerful!) way I know of doing that is by adding a Super Signature to all your flagship emails.

Just like a plate of freshly baked cookies triggers your guests into having some, your Super Signature triggers your prospects into action.

And by regularly presenting them with all the options they have available to get started…

That little square footage on the bottom of your emails can quickly become an amazing profit center for you.
