Sometimes you have to start in the middle.

And what I mean by that is…

When you’re just starting out with your new business idea, you have to figure out your During Unit first.

Forget marketing. Forget funnels, and lead generation, and conversion… and all of that stuff.

If you don’t have something that generates results for people… Something that’s a dream come true experience for your target market…

None of the “sophisticated” marketing stuff can ever help you get there.

But here’s the thing. You can’t create the best possible During Unit experience… when you’re stuck with your normal, “limited" thinking.

At this stage, you don’t have to include budgets, costs, or worry that people won’t pay such a high price.

What you do need to do at this stage is: Use your imagination.

For example, imagine there are no limits. Ask yourself, “How high is high?” And then look into the future and picture what this new venture could possibly become.

You’d be surprised at what’s possible with a positive attitude and an unlimited budget. Even if the budget is unlimited in your imagination only.

And then, once you have your dream-come-true business clearly defined in your mind...

Now you’re ready to come back down to reality. And start with the smallest step that can get you closer to that picture…

Do you want to build a successful theatre empire like Tyler Perry? Great. Start with building the best theatre experience in your neighborhood. In your city. In your town.

You can’t become Cirque du Soleil on day one. But you can certainly start by imagining you being one!

The reality is, most people never dare thinking that way. That’s why most businesses never reach their potential.

So, think about it. How high is high for your business? What would you do if you had an unlimited budget?
