Here’s the thing...

When you offer someone a 20% off… a 50% off… a "buy one get one free"… or any kind of offer where they have to pay you money in order to get the savings…

Two bad things happen.

First, because the only way to respond to that kind of offer is to do it right now, you’re losing a lot of prospects right off the bat. Not everyone is ready to buy right away.

And second, by discounting your product or service you’re diminishing its value.

So, what’s the right way to do it? Is there anything you can do to incentivize people to sign up... without taking away any value to your service of product?

Turns out, there is.

It’s called a gift card. And what I mean by that is…

Instead of offering 20% off to someone, have a $100 gift card they can download. Even if it’s technically the same, the vibe your prospects get from that gift card is completely different…

The psychological impact on that is huge. And it has currency attached to it…

In other words, there’s real value in that gift card. Someone can use it to buy your products… to sign up for your $129/month yoga class… or whatever else it may be…

Now here’s the best part: There’s zero obligation on their part. They don’t have to do anything right now except download the gift card...

And when they do, that’s a bookmark on their future intention. Now you know they’re interested…

Which means, now you have the opportunity to stay in touch with them. To email them, and educate and motivate them until they’re ready…

And just like that, with the help of your gift card, you've turned invisible prospects into visible ones.
