Get food and toilet paper.
But as you observe our survival instinct take over, there’s a huge opportunity for every business owner to step in as a reassurance. Because providing great service, adapted to the new reality, can help people calm down.

If you’re in the restaurant business, your circumstances might look pretty dire. Everyone’s being forced to shut down and stay home.

But think outside the box for a moment...
There’s a dual force happening right now. On one hand, restaurant owners and staff are being affected by the slow-down in traffic…
While at the same time, citizens are faced with food anxiety. They’re stocking up, not knowing if there’s going to be enough supplies for everybody.
However, when you think about it…
The restaurant has access to a different food supply chain than you and me, normal citizens. And right now, the commercial food supply chain has probably a surplus of food due to all the lockdowns.
So why not take this as an opportunity and adapt to it?
And I’m not talking about just turning your regular menu into a takeout, order ahead kind of thing.
I’m talking about really thinking outside the box. Focusing on what would be the most valuable thing you could offer to your customers right now. Something that would help them in a situation like this.
Because here’s the thing…
When you go out of your way to help your customers when they need it the most...
You’re going to create something that really helps, and that's going to be remembered when all this is over.
