Any kind of successful venture has got to have three key components:
Vision… capabilities… and reach.
But here’s the thing. It is vision and reach that provide you the profits.
If you only have capabilities - you’re a commodity.
Execution is available for purchase. It can be done by so many people.
On the other hand, very few of us have good ideas and the opportunity to reach the masses.
Remember Kylie Jenner?
At one point in time, Kylie Jenner had the vision to create a cosmetic line. That was her idea. But she didn't have the capability to do it. So she found a white label partner who had the capability to do it.
Same with her book-keeping. Kylie didn’t have the capability to do it so she partnered with her mom’s company to do all the business administration for her.
These collaborations allowed Kylie to focus on the things she actually knew how to do…
And that is, coming up with the ideas. Stuff like, “We’re going to make lip kits… These are the colors that we want…. This is what we’re going to name the colors…” and so on.
However, none of that would have mattered unless she had one more thing: The reach.
That’s right. Kylie also had the reach to get the word out to her 150 million social media followers. In other words, it’s her vision combined with her reach that made her a billionaire.
And the point of all this?
If you only have capabilities, seek out people with ideas and reach, get behind them, and participate in the profit of the venture.
And if like Kylie, you have ideas, you know how to reach a big audience, but you don’t know how to execute?
Well, you’re in luck...
Because there’s never been easier than right now to find people with skills and make something happen quickly.
