"How do I get more visitors?"

What should you do if you want to get more visitors to your site?

Here's my list...in order of what I would do if I were you.

1. I would MAXIMIZE the total number of visitors available from google.com.

for a lot of you...there is more traffice available from google than you can afford, or want. If that's the case, I would lower my bids and test to find the best mix of bid and daily budget.

Sometimes, if you're consistently reaching your daily maximum budget, you can keep your daily budget the same and lower your bids immediately getting more visitors for the same money.

Remember, with google.com as soon as you reach your DAILY budget, they stop showing your ad...so if you lower your bids, it will take more visitors to reach your daily budget.

Try lowering by 10 cents at a time, until you stop reaching your daily budget.

If you lower your bids by 20%...say from 50 cents per click to 40 cents...it's going to take 20% more visitors to reach your same daily budget.

This is a quick fix, and it's an easy solution for anyone meeting their daily maximum budget.

2. Next, I would MAXIMIZE what I can get from Overture.com

Same thing as above, especially if there is more available than I have a current budget for.

If I'm reaching my monthly budget in a week, then I would try lowering my bids.

On StopYourDivorce.com, I've been playing around with lowering my bids to 3rd position instead of 1st position, with a minimal reduction in overall traffic, but a much higher profitability rate.

If I were you, I would test lower bids too.

3. I would be advertising OFFLINE!

VERY RARELY (I want to say NEVER) when someone calls us looking for more visitors do we ever see any 000's in their getresponse.com account.

000's meaning someone who came directly to your site without coming from google or overture.

In smaller markets especially, it's almost a necessity for you to do everything you possibly can to get visitors to your site.

Check out the owners manual and start going down the checklist of offline things you can do to get visitors...then start going down the list.

That's the top 3 things I would do If I were you.
