Quarantine continues to affect how we’re all doing business. Still, adversity is the mother of invention, and many of the entrepreneurs I’ve spoken to are reinventing or incorporating completely new components alongside their existing business.

There are many opportunities right now to do business in a way we’ve never done before.

Take my own business, for example. I’m hosting new Email workshops online, and I’ve flipped the switch to host my Breakthrough Blueprint Events virtually as well. I have to admit; everyone really likes finishing a live event and walking out the door and being home.

Are you looking for ways to do new things in your business? What if you could add an entirely new way to make people aware of your business?

I had a conversation recently with an entrepreneur who started a photo contest for his local city. That got me thinking about how easy it would be to incorporate this idea alongside a traditional business.

So, what if you own an outdoor store and started a contest for a ‘Quarantine King or Queen of the Grill’?

People could send in photos of their socially distanced grilling or maybe a backyard camping expedition? You could ask a local bank, mortgage company, or Realtor to sponsor the contest in return, give them exposure to the contest participants. You could reach out to a manufacturer to provide a prize. All the time, you’re collecting the details of your most enthusiastic potential customers.

This really becomes an interesting puzzle with a lot of different opportunities to make money and promote your business, and it works for any business.

But here’s a piece of the puzzle that’s really exciting. You now have a massive supply of content generated by people passionate about your industry, that you can use for months to come as a way to keep in touch with people. Social media posts, follow up interviews with people, before and after pictures, a podcast, the list is endless. You’ve primed your content pump with interesting material that you can send people as a means to deliver your super signature.
