If you want to change the world with a book, then the best book to do it with is a short book.
Something that’s in the 50 to 70-page range.
Here’s why: People don’t have long attention spans. So anything that can be consumed in a short period of time is a win for you. And a short book can be read in one sitting.
But here’s the thing...
People can’t read your book if they don’t know about it. So you have to have a way to get your book in their hands.
But you don’t need 200 or 300 pages for that.
All you need is three things…
First, you’ve got to have a book, obviously.
Second, you’ve got to have the right title for your book. The one that makes your audience go, “I want that!”
And third, you’ve got to have a way for people to get your book. An opt-in page or a lead ad… or some other way for them to leave their name and email address.
These are the only three things that matter when you’re using a book to start a conversation with someone.

You don’t need to write a huge blockbuster. Or the ultimate work on your subject. 80 pages or less is enough to convey your idea, get people on board and start the movement.
Don’t believe me?
I just got a copy of a book called Common Sense by Thomas Payne.
It’s a tiny book. Just 80 pages short. But it’s the very book that started the whole idea of the United States. Thomas wrote the foundational stuff that led to the Constitution in a tiny 80-pages book.
Here’s another example: the Communist Manifesto. This tiny 60-pages book is what started the whole Communist movement.
Think about it…
Two tiny books, both less than 100 pages, set the poles of all our society: Democracy and communism. You can’t find two other books that have had more impact on the world than those two.
In other words, you don’t need a 300-page book to change the world.
You just need a tiny book with the right title in front of your audience, a way for them to ask for it…
And then start the ball rolling.
