Sometimes I struggle with people who are not getting the results they want in their business. I know exactly how to help them...but it seems to be an uphill battle.
Other times, all I have to do is point someone in the right direction and they're off like a firecracker.
What's the difference?
Here's what I think makes all the difference.
1. People who make big changes are READY for change...and really WANT to change.
All they've got to see is a clear picture of how their business could be better...and they are ready to get going.
Sometimes, people see how their business could be different. Know what it would take to make that difference...yet still make NO change.
2. People who make big changes stop making EXCUSES that keep them where they are.
"There's nowhere to put Public Notice Fliers"
"Zero Down is not available anymore"
"My Ugly Yellow Signs don't stay up"
"People in my market are more sophisticated"
I heard a great saying one time "When you EXCUSE yourself, you ACCUSE yourself".
People who make big changes don't let anything stop them. There is always a way.
3. People who make big changes are willing to take IMMEDIATE ACTION.
There is NO time like the present.
SOMEDAY is never.
There is always something you can do TODAY that will move you in the direction you want to go.
People who stay the same are always waiting for someday...for everything to line up just right...for the beginning of the month...for that closing to come through.
Change takes place now.
