Personality vs automation

There’s two things your weekly flagship email needs to achieve.

One is, to be the carrier for your Super Signature. So you make it easy for your prospects to get started with you.

But there’s another “secret” agenda to it. Something less obvious that many people miss.

And that is…

You want people to bond with you. You want to let them know that there’s a real person (you) behind it all.

The one thing I see a lot of these days is… people are relying too much on automation. Nobody wants to get any personality into anything they do.

But here’s the thing: Everybody and anybody can set someone up on a templated autoresponder and start sending automated market data updates. But that’s not what’s going to make your prospects like you.

When you let automation do the work for you, your prospects don’t feel like you care, they don’t see you going out of your way for them… and in turn, they don’t care about you either.

In other words, you don't get loyal fans with automation.

Remember this: People can get data from anybody. But your personal insight, that’s something they can get only from you. And that’s what bonds.

Even if all you actually do is sending plain market data updates… say, property updates… put some personal thoughts into it. Say it in your own words…

“This is what's been going on in the market this week. We had this many new listings… we had this much sales… I've been working with some people in this area, I've seen a lot of these homes, and this is one of the best I saw this week.”

If all you do this year is this small change of adding some personality into your emails… that's going to make a dramatic difference for you.

And when the time’s right, and your prospects become ready...

They won’t dream of working with anybody other than you. Because now they feel like they already know you.

And, as the saying goes, people buy from people they know, like, and trust. ;)
