Lately, I've been thinking about what the essence of the real estate business is.
At it's CORE it's really about doing two things.
It's about helping buyers FIND homes...and helping sellers SELL homes.
The lending business is about getting purchasers loans...and helping people refinance their current loans.
No matter what other stuff we do in our business, it's ALL in service of those two things.
Sending a newsletter is about building a relationship with our clients so they will do one of our CORE things with us again...or refer us to their friends and family.
Ugly Yellow signs...public notice fliers...classified ads are all in an effort to find people who want and need our CORE service.
The market conditions come and go, but our core service remains the same...and it's delivered ONE person, ONE situation, ONE circumstance at a time.
Not EVERYONE is affected by a "bad" market.
The very best thing we can do is be ADAPTABLE and find the right people to deliver our core service to...one person at a time.
