I just came up with my clearest ever definition of advertising.
The Purpose of Advertising is to MULTIPLY MONEY!
It's not to get or keep your name out there.
It's not to meet or stay within a monthly budget.
Advertising when done right should allow for an UNLIMITED BUDGET.
One of the craziest things I see is people who are spending $300 a month, or $10 a day...and making 10 to 1 on their money not spending MORE MONEY.
If you've got a proven way to turn $1 in to $5 or $10 -- doesn't it just make sense that you'd want to do that as much as you possibly could?
The only difference between you and Tom Cook, say, is that Tom Cook spends MUCH MORE money than you.
Tom cook will make more than a million dollars this year, just from the website leads they generate...not including their repeat and referral, or other business.
Now some people might think spending $3000 or $4000 a month on advertising sounds crazy, but if you're predictably and consistently turning that money into MORE money...doesn't it make sense?
A lot of people I talk to could double their business, just by doubling their advertising budget.
Don't get stuck on the "I have a $300 a month advertising budget" mindset. If you have more money, and time or assistance to work with more clients...spend more to get more.
It's better than buying mutual funds -- plus it's tax deductible!
