When You EXCUSE yourself...you ACCUSE yourself

Dean Jackson 1 min read

I heard that thought a few weeks ago and I've been trying to find a situation where that statement isn't true.

I can't.

It's becoming crystal clear to me that there are two types of people. People who make excuses...and people who find a way.

Sometimes we do it unconsciously.

I've been especially watching the 30-Day Lead Blitz thread over at MyByReferralOnly.com -- and I see some patterns developing.

About once a week, someone posts a message that "Zero Down is not available anymore" or "Zero down is disappearing" or "Isn't Zero Down bait and switch?" -- within moments, other members will pop in and say "Zero down is alive and kicking...try here...or here...or here...or like this".

About once a week, someone will say "Ugly Yellow Signs are outlawed in my town...30 Day Lead Blitz won't work for me".

About once a week, someone will say "There's nowhere to put Public Notice Fliers in my town".

Every time we make an excuse are we really accusing ourselves of being unresourceful, unimaginative, and being beaten by whatever external circumstance we're using to excuse ourselves from getting what we really want?
