John Duncan stumbled on the word of the day today...and I like it.
Simplicity is such a good thing.
Most of the problems that come up in your business, can probably be traced to COMPLEXITY.
I am a BIG fan of simple systems.
A Narrow focus is a huge advantage in business. It allows you to maximize every dollar you can out of every cent you put in to your marketing efforts.
Where do you start?
Choose a SINGLE target market.
If you're spending a little money in a lot of markets....you're spread too thin.
Pick your favorite market, and spend all your advertising money on getting as many visitors as you can for that ONE target market...then move on to the next and don't stop until you've maxed out what you can do in that ONE market.
It's so much easier to go DEEP in a single market than it is to go WIDE over your entire tri-county area.
Plus, it's easier to manage MarketWatch and keep on top of the inventory.
We'll be talking a lot about simplicity next weekend in Orlando.
