What would you love for someone to say after they’ve worked with you?
Not the polite review.
Not “Dean was very professional and did a great job.”
I mean the most enthusiastic, raving review someone could possibly write about the entire experience.
One of the most popular exercises we used to do at our Main Events was put on some ultimate-scenario-writing music and ask everyone to write a letter from the perspective of a client who had just finished working with them.
If you’re a real estate agent, imagine they’ve just sold their home with you.
What would you want them to say?
Maybe they’d say they always knew exactly what was happening.
That you anticipated every question before they had to ask it.
That you made what they expected to be a stressful process feel calm and completely handled.
That there were little surprises along the way that made them feel special.
That they couldn’t imagine ever working with anyone else.
Once you’ve written that review, you have a blueprint.
You can work backward and ask:
What would have to happen for every word of this to be true?
That’s the beginning of Profit Activator 5: Deliver a Dream Come True Experience.
There are really two things happening anytime somebody hires you.
There is the result they are paying you to produce.
And there is the experience they have while you produce it.
The result matters, of course.
But the experience is what they’ll remember, talk about, and describe to someone else.
Most people wait until the process is over and hope their client is happy enough to write a wonderful review.
But you don’t have to leave it to chance.
Write the review first.
Then build the experience that earns it.
