At the internet Academy in Florida this year, we talkied a lot about AWARENESS and what it means to know your numbers. Here are the definitions of the most important numbers you can track:
1. Visitors
Start tracking the number of visitors you get for the money
you’re spending on Google, Overture and in print. More for Less
is best.
**2. Get Response Subscribers
**Track total number of subscribers and the % of visitors that
leave their name and email. Shoot for 20% as an indication you’re
getting the right kind of focused traffic.
**3. Leads
**How many leads are you getting? People who ask for MarketWatch or
HomeLoan Reports, plus the people who respond to your email
messages.
**4. Cost Per Lead
**How Much are you spending for the leads you’re getting?
Track them by source.
**5. Connections
**How many leads can you connect with using the 7-Step Connection
Process?
Track this number “out of 10” and strive for improving the
number every 10 new leads.
**6. 5-Star Prospects
**Track the number of 5-Star Prospects you find out of 10 leads,
and improve your ability to identify them correctly.
**7. MarketWatch Subscribers **
How many 5-Star prospects do you have on MarketWatch? Aim for 100
at a time, and keep on top of them.
**8. Transactions
**How many transactions are you doing? And what can you learn about
them?
Are they mostly NOW? Are they 6 months? Later?
Know what your average is and focus accordingly.
9. Total Dollar Revenue
How much money did you generate from these leads? What could you do
to improve that dollar number? Referrals to an agent where they
live? Better follow-up? Referrals to an agent in your office?
**10. Cost Per Transaction
**How much did the total transactions cost you?
Take the dollars spent on advertising, and divide them by the
total transactions to find out.
Knowing these numbers will go a long way to helping you understand what's
happening with your website...and where your big opporunity is.
This is what Turning Pro is all about.
